The OG image is the preview picture that appears when someone shares your page — on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Slack:
How to set it
- Open the page in the editor. The OG image field sits at the top of the form, below the slug.
- Pick an image the same way as everywhere else: choose an existing one with Select Image from Collection, or upload a new one — it is added to the image collection first and then applied here.
You see a preview right away. The image is converted to the right size and format (1200 × 630) automatically — you do not need to resize anything. Clear removes it again.
What happens without one
If a page has no OG image, the OG image of your home page (/) is used instead. So make sure your home page always has a good one — it is the fallback for your whole website. A picture that matches the page is still better: it makes a shared link look much more inviting.
