OG image

Last updated: July 19, 2026

The OG image is the preview picture that appears when someone shares your page — on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, or Slack:

How to set it

  1. Open the page in the editor. The OG image field sits at the top of the form, below the slug.
  2. Pick an image the same way as everywhere else: choose an existing one with Select Image from Collection, or upload a new one — it is added to the image collection first and then applied here.

You see a preview right away. The image is converted to the right size and format (1200 × 630) automatically — you do not need to resize anything. Clear removes it again.

What happens without one

If a page has no OG image, the OG image of your home page (/) is used instead. So make sure your home page always has a good one — it is the fallback for your whole website. A picture that matches the page is still better: it makes a shared link look much more inviting.
